   A Psychic only offers advice on what they are picking up at the time of your meeting. I personally found psychic readings to be excellent but only when dealing with a Psychic who is honest and passionate and honors their gift.

   Psychics like everyone else get tired and burnt out and have their good and bad days.

   Just because she owns a shop is no indication of how she works or takes care of herself and her energy fields. Working in a shop meeting many people can be exhausting for anyone especially a person who is highly connected with Spiritual Energy. If a Psychic doesn’t take care of their energy then their readings and level of accuracy begins to slip, which may be what has happened with your reading.

   I honestly feel you need to have another reading with someone totally different and then follow your own gut intuition. Clearly you are not comfortable about taking a baby to Thailand or you would not be asking Yahoo answers.

   A Psychic can only offer information and guidance but at the end of the day the responsibility for your life and the life of your baby is yours.

   Just because she has a shop does not make her psychic! In my personal experience meditation and spirituality is the key for every psychic! A true psychic will not have to ask a lot of questions and will know a lot of things right off the bat!

   On a more personal note, Dont take a baby to Thailand!! Especially if you are traveling alone!! To much black market and violence there!

   I think the father should come here. I know a woman who took her baby to see the dad that lived in Iran and because of the rules there the father got custity of the child, she got deported and was never able to see them again.

   It would be best to be on the safe side but that is just my oppinion.

   What do you think.. do you have faith in this person?..what are your own instincts telling you?
   I cannot think that it is sensible for anyone to tell you not to take your baby away unless they have some very good reasoning to back this up indeed. Did you question her about it? what response did you get?
   The Tarot cannot give you absolutes..it is not like that at all.
   I suggest you use your own intuition here.

   You should always take anything a tarot reader or psychic says with a grain of salt. Humans, no matter how adept they are at any learned skill, are still humans – we are not perfect and we make mistakes. Tarot reading isn’t an exact science and is largely subject to personal interpretation and intuition by the reader.

   The tarot doesn’t really “predict the future” or tell you anything that you couldn’t have figured out for yourself…the tarot helps to access your subconscious thoughts, feelings, memories, etc. and bring them forth to conscious thinking in order to help you guide yourself through a situation with the tools and knowledge you already have within you. For one who is truly honest with themselves, the tarot won’t tell them anything they don’t already know.

   It sounds like she was applying her own psychic perceptions to this reading, and it doesn’t make any sense to me that she would just say “don’t take the baby with you to Thailand” without giving a little more detail about why she felt the need to say it. And of course, perhaps she’s not even psychic or a great tarot reader and she just does what she does under the guise of Wiccan shop owner to make extra money. How are we to know?

   That being said, apply your own logic and intuition here. As others have said, when you go, be careful about what your child eats and drinks, observe proper safety precautions that anyone should when traveling abroad.

   Either way Thailand is so dangerous for babies. Don’t let him eat or drink anything. Canned food and bottled water only. Just drinking showerwater could give anyone a horrid desease and it could easily kill a baby. But obviously people can survive there. Even I have a bad feeling about taking your baby there. I’m not a master psychic but I’m not horrible. But this whole thing has given me a bad feeling

   After having bad readings from her in the past, you should turn down her advice. Especially if she senses that her skill may be slipping, she’s likely to compromise her skill by giving you bigger and more dire warnings as a way of inspiring your faith in her to return.

   Get a second opinion from another reader. Don’t tell the second person about your troubles with this woman, just ask about your trip to Thailand. After you get your answer you may wish to talk about the previous reading.

   Do not go back to the shop owner for readings. She needs to bone up on her skills before she can be trusted again.

   Hm, I think whatever you think in your gut is best. I think that if you are worried, perhaps do not go? Did she ever say what the problem was? The plane? Or did something happen in Thailand? Whatever your feelings are telling you (even if you might just be paranoid), follow them.

    Does she ask allot of questions during the reading? Did you tell her that you were going to Thailand or that you have a baby? Tarot readers only need a question from you(one), they shouldn’t be asking for allot of info although they may need clarification on one or two points. For example she could see that you are going on a journey soon. So she will ask,”Where are you going on holiday?” that is acceptable. However if she asks “Are you going on holiday? ” that is not acceptable because that is a cold questioning. Theres is no way of telling whether or not she is genuine unless I visit her.
